Sydney had scored 114 runs losing 6 wickets in 16 overs. Sydney needed 45 runs off 20 balls. At that time Peter Siddle came to bowl. On his ball, Alex Ross played in the off. The Adelaide Strikers won the toss and decided to bat first. He scored 159 runs. All the players batted well. Three Adelaide batsmen scored 31 runs. In response, Sydney could score only 153 runs.
