Babar Azam joins special club

Azam has joined the list of captains with most wins in T20 International cricket. Former England captain Eoin Morgan (42) and former Afghanistan captain Asghar Stanikzai (42) are currently on top. Babur has equaled both these captains. Pakistan has to play three more T20 International matches against New Zealand and in such a situation, Babar Azam will surely make this record his name.

Babar Azam became the first captain in the world to score three centuries in T20 Internationals. He also became the first player from Pakistan to score three centuries in T20 International cricket.

Babar Azam is the only player in T20 International cricket history who has scored his three centuries against army countries. Babar Azam scored the 9th century of his T20 career and he has reached the second place in terms of scoring the most centuries in T20 cricket. Former West Indies explosive opener Chris Gayle holds the record for scoring the most centuries in T20 cricket. Gayle has scored 22 T20 centuries.
