A big update has come out regarding IPL 2024. Because this time due to elections, IPL may be played in multiple rounds. Soon the schedule of the first round of the tournament may come in several pieces.

The 24th season of IPL is going to start from March 22 and BCCI is working on the schedule keeping the general elections in mind. Speaking exclusively to Aaj Tak, IPL Chairman Arun Dhumal said, we are working on the schedule, and will soon announce the schedule of the first round (10-15 days). The remaining dates will be announced later.

Dhumal said, ‘We are in touch with the government, we have already had talks and will do so again, it will be announced soon. Since the election schedule will come later, we have to start the initial matches, so some matches will be announced soon.

Once the election date is decided, the matches will be organized accordingly. Dhumal said, ‘If you ask me, I can tell you the tentative dates which is March 22 and the final match will be on May 26.

The schedule of Women’s Premier League 2024 is out

The complete schedule of the Women’s Premier League 2024 has been revealed. In which last year’s champions Mumbai Indians will face Delhi Capitals in the opening match at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

The first match will be played on 23 February, while the final will be held on 17 March in Delhi. A total of 22 matches in WPL 2024 and the top team will go straight to the finals. While the second and third-placed teams will face off in the Eliminator.

The final match will be played on March 17 at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. All matches will start at 7:30 pm. The eliminator will be played on 15 March. Like last season, there will be no home-away format in the WPL. However, in the next season, the tournament will be played in two cities, Delhi and Bengaluru.
